Mt. Zion Methodist sets revival services starting this Sunday

Mt. Zion United Methodist Church on Highway 80, three miles past the Washington-Wilkes golf course, will have revival services beginning Sunday, October 2, and continuing through Wednesday, October 5, at 7 p.m. each night.

Rev. Edward Swehla of Liberty United Methodist Church in Greene County will be the speaker. Rev. Swehla grew up in New York and has been in Georgia for 25 years. He is a graduate of Toccoa Bible College and Candler School of Theology. He and his wife Dawn have a son and daughter.

Rev. Richard Broom, pastor of Mt. Zion, Smyrna, and Bethel United Methodist Churches, and the congregation invite anyone interested to attend the services. There will be special singing each night. The New Apostles will be present Tuesday night and a covered dish meal will be held Sunday and Wednesday nights at 6 p.m.
