Episcopal Church of the Mediator calls Loree Reed

REV. LOREE REED REV. LOREE REED Reverend Loree Reed is the new Rector of the historic Episcopal Church of the Mediator in Washington. Rev. Reed has served a number of churches in the Diocese of Atlanta, including Holy Innocents Episcopal Church in Atlanta, Church of the Advent in Madison, and St. Gregory the Great Episcopal Church in Athens.

“I am looking forward to meeting the people of Washington,” she said. “And as we begin our new healing service on Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m., I want to encourage any who are seeking healing for themselves, for others, or for anything torn or broken in our world, to come and offer their prayers. The Church of the Mediator wants to be a house of prayer for all people.”

The healing services begin on Wednesday, November 7. The Church of the Mediator is located at 214 East Robert Toombs Avenue.

Rev. Reed started her new tenure by welcoming the new Episcopal Bishop of Atlanta, the Rt. Rev. Robert Wright, on October 28. Mediator parishioners entertained Bishop Wright with one of their legendary pot-luck dinners and were delighted to share food and fellowship with him.
