Feb. Grand Jury hands down 28 indictments in Wilkes Co.

Indictments were handed down by Wilkes County’s Grand Jury last week in a variety of cases investigated in Wilkes County. During the August term of court, the Grand Jury handed down a total of 28 indictments. True bills were returned on individuals as follows:

Archie Acree – making a false statement.

Allison Markita Anderson – aggravated assault, family violence.

Robert Todd Blackmon – theft by taking.

Akiem Davis – entering an automobile.

Chad Edwin Dunn – possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Jarius Ferrell – armed robbery; aggravated assault (two counts), violation of the Street Gang and Terrorism Prevention Act (two counts), possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony (two counts).

Stephen Patrick Godsey – possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, tampering with evidence, possession of drug-related objects, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

Kentonda Kenyanda Hall – aggravated assault.

Charles Hawes – battery.

Jonathan Eli Johnson – burglary in the first degree, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

Kimberly Johnson – burglary in the first degree.

Michael Lloyd Johnson – aggravated assault (nine counts), possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Zachary James Lee Knarr – burglary in the first degree.

Kemble Tyreak Laquines – armed robbery, aggravated assault (two counts), violation of the Street Gang and Terrorism Prevention Act (two counts), possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony (two counts).

Timothy R. Mickens – aggravated assault (family violence), aggravated stalking, influencing a witness.

Timothy R. Mickens – aggravated assault (family violence), cruelty to children in the third degree.

Jarvis Lamont Milton – malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

Remington Chase Osborne – possession of drug-related objects.

Roy Eugene Palmer – possession of drug-related objects.

Tyrique Demarquez Pender – armed robbery, aggravated assault (two counts), violation of the Street Gang and Terrorism Prevention Act (two counts), possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony (two counts).

Tavaris Ramsey – aggravated cruelty to animals; illegal sale, purchase, or transport of game fish; holding game without permit.

Shawn Terrell Ray – possession of less than one ounce of marijuana.

Lazarto Maquez Smih – burglary in the first degree, aggravated assault, battery (family violence) (two counts), cruelty to children in the third degree, terroristic threats and acts.

Katrina Lee Strickland – burglary in the second degree.

Antaveous Deshawn Sturges – armed robbery, aggravated assault (two counts), violation of the Street Gang and Terrorism Prevention Act (two counts), possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony (two counts).

Task Williams Jr. – making a false statement.

Terrence Griffin Zellars – burglary in the first degree.
